You can add speaker notes in PowerPoint to help guide your presentation while keeping the main slides uncluttered. Here’s how :
1. Using the Notes Pane (Easiest Method)
- Open your PowerPoint presentation.
- Select the slide where you want to add notes.
- At the bottom of the PowerPoint window, locate the Notes Pane (if you don’t see it, click Notes in the View tab).
- Click inside the Notes Pane and type your speaker notes.
2. Using the Notes Page View
- Go to the View tab.
- Click Notes Page to see how your notes will appear in presenter mode or when printed.
- Type or edit your notes as needed.
3. Using Presenter View During a Slideshow
- When presenting, click Slide Show > From Beginning or From Current Slide.
- If using Presenter View, your notes will appear on your screen while only the slide is shown to the audience.
4. Printing Speaker Notes
- Go to File > Print > Choose Notes Pages under "Settings" to print slides with speaker notes.
