How often do you make mistakes?
I think everyone makes mistakes sometimes, but I’m always willing to own up to them and learn from them. In my last construction job, I was working with a team of other foremen who were all trying to get the same project done by a deadline. We had been working for several days without any problems, so we decided to take a break. While we were gone, someone accidentally knocked over some tools, which caused damage to the building.
We realized what happened as soon as we got back to work, and I immediately started making plans to repair the damage. The rest of the foremen helped me figure out how much time we would need to finish the project, and then we worked extra hard to meet our new deadline.
