P C Mohanan was the acting Chairperson of the autonomous body and J V Meenakshi was a NSC member. P C Mohanan was a former member of the Indian Statistical Services and J V Meenakshi was a professor at the Delhi School of Economics. Pratima Singh (IRS) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) on Wednesday (1st May 2024). According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).
