Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra on Friday(26th Aug 2022) scripted history by winning the Lausanne Diamond League with a best throw of 89.04 metres in his first attempt. He became the first Indian to clinch a Diamond League Meet title.

With this victory, Chopra qualified for Diamond League Finals in Zurich. The Zurich finals will be held on September 7.
