AMD Set to Unveil Next-Gen AI Products and Instinct MI300X at Advancing AI Event

AMD announced (15th Nov 2023) “Advancing AI,” an in-person and livestreamed event on December 6, 2023 to launch the next-generation AMD Instinct™ MI300 data center GPU accelerator family and highlight the Company’s growing momentum with AI hardware and software partners.

AMD Chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su will be joined by AMD executives, AI ecosystem partners and customers who will discuss how AMD products and software are re-shaping the AI, adaptive and high-performance computing landscape.

The live stream will start at 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday, December 6 at https://www.amd.com/en/corporate/events/advancing-ai.html as well as the AMD YouTube channel.

Notably, AI startups like Lamini and Moreh have already embraced AMD MI210 and MI250 systems for optimizing and deploying custom LLMs, with Databricks strategically leveraging AMD GPUs for enhanced LLM training capabilities.

As the industry eagerly awaits the AMD Instinct MI300X launch, key players like Lamini and Databricks express anticipation for its promising features, including 192GB of High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM).

Interestingly, NVIDIA has also recently unveiled its HGX H200 AI computer, set to power platforms for Microsoft, AWS, Google, and Oracle.
