Apple made its own framework to create large language models, such as ChatGPT and Google's Bard, with this foundation, known as "Ajax," it also built a chatbot service called “Apple GPT.”

According to media reports, Apple's AI push has recently grown to be a significant endeavour. Several teams are working together on the project.
OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google Bard, and Microsoft's Bing AI caught the company off guard in the past year, but Apple has been integrating AI into products for years. Now it's trying to catch up in a buzzy market for generative tools, which can create essays, images and even videos from text prompts.

The technology has captured the imagination of consumers and businesses in recent months, leading to a stampede of related products.
Although company CEO Tim Cook has been circumspect about the flood of new AI services hitting the market. But in an interview with Good Morning America, meanwhile, Cook said he uses ChatGPT and that it’s something that the company is “looking at closely.”

The way people interact with phones, computers, and other technology is expected to change as a result of generative AI. And if the corporation doesn't keep up with AI developments, Apple's gadgets, which generated sales of around $320 billion in the most recent fiscal year, might suffer.
Earlier, in another development, It is projected that Apple will see a decrease in iPhone sales during the quarter of April-June, which may be linked to cautious consumer behaviour in an economy that is slowing down as well as the anticipation of the arrival of a new model.
