BYJU's introduces 3 AI models - Badri, MathGPT, and TeacherGPT
Byju’s on Wednesday (7th June 2023) announced the launch of Byju’s Wiz, a suite of three cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) transformer models—Badri, MathGPT, and TeacherGPT.

The new suite, the firm said, will provide students with personalised learning experiences.

According to Divya Gokulnath, co-founder of BYJU's, the integration of AI technology is not intended to replace teachers but rather enhance the efficiency of the organisation and allow teachers to focus on other important tasks.

Gokulnath emphasised that the AI technology will provide teachers with clearer feedback on students' performance, enabling them to assist students in becoming better learners.
"No AI could replace what we did as teachers do in that video. No AI can replace what we as teachers do in live classes and BYJU's tuition centres but AI can enable us as teachers to have clearer feedback on our students' performance so that we can help them become better learners," Gokulnath said.

The AI suite which Byju’s claims has a 90% accuracy rate has the ability to accurately predict a student's knowledge state, identify misconceptions, learning gaps, or mistakes.

* While Badri is a predictive AI model which leverages the AI technology to pinpoint a student's strengths and weaknesses at a granular level.

* MathGPT uses advanced machine learning algorithms to generate optimal solutions for complex mathematical challenges.
* The other tool TeacherGPT is an AI-driven assistant which ensures that students are gently guided toward the correct answer and offers personalised guidance.

“The AI suite stands out by not only being built on the foundation of existing generative AI models but also by harnessing the immense power of Byju’s vast ocean of data, based on the billions of daily interactions that happen on its platforms. This synergy allows the AI suite to undergo extensive training and amplification,” the edtech startup said in a statement.
BYJU's Chief Innovation and Learning Officer, Dev Roy, expressed enthusiasm for the potential of BYJU's WIZ suite, stating that it will usher in a new era of personalized learning.

"Its launch is a definitive event in our constant endeavour to teach students not just 'what to learn' but also 'how to learn'," Roy said.
