Lead R&D Engr/Scientist

We have an immediate opportunity for a Lead R&D Engr/Scientist – Sustainable Hydroprocessing to join Honeywell UOP's Research and Development organization located in Gurgaon, India. 

This role will lead and support the development of new hydroprocessing process and catalyst technologies that will process renewable, circular plastic and conventional feeds to provide sustainable technology solutions to the energy industry.  At Honeywell UOP, you will have to opportunity to build your knowledge and skills early on in your career with opportunities in process design and modeling as well as other technology areas.  This will provide a strong foundation to take on higher level leadership roles to drive the innovation and development of more complex technologies.

Responsibilities :

* Lead and drive projects to deliver integrated solutions for upgrading sustainable or hybrid feedstocks (e.g., plastics, renewable and conventional feeds) into valuable fuels and petrochemicals.
* Enable vision for Conversion Outcomes in future hybrid feedstock scenarios through advanced system engineering methods including molecule management.
* Lead, or contribute as a member on, cross functional teams including specialists from R&D, Engineering, Technical Service and Manufacturing for the development of new solutions for the conversion technology areas.
* Develop and implement robust project plans to meet technology delivery commitments on schedule and within budget constraints.
* Lead pilot plant experimentation and drive model-based design of experiments (MBDOE) approach to bring the effectiveness and agility.
* Build awareness of the market, competition, and new developments. * Contribute to technology strategy development to build a strong pipeline of sustainable solutions that will drive growth.

You Must Have :

* B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
* 10+ years of experience in a Technology, Engineering, Research & Development, or Technical Service role within the refining and petrochemical industries.

Advanced Application Engr

Key Responsibilities

* Assess customer site for installation requirements, design engineering & commissioning. Complete complex and integrated system designs with technical requirements.
* Assist for application engineer during programming and site activities as well as technical project management.
* Support Project performance to achieve, on-time delivery, zero or positive deviation and proactive technical issue prevention. Suggest cost effective solutions to improve project GM.
* Support as necessary for trouble free Project engineering, commissioning.

* Assist during TRR, eCAP, Proposal reviews, drive eBOQ, FAT, SAT, UAT, etc. till project handover and remote system staging for required projects
* Prepare submittals as per engineering standards, RFP requirements, ensuring commitment dates are met. Review submittals with sales, delivery teams and lead team to obtain on-time engineering submittal approval.
* Define scope of the project for engineering & commissioning activities. Supervise the preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for on-time project completion.
* Use Quality Assurance procedures and ensure defect-free hardware and software to field delivery team.

You Must Have :

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering.
* 7-13 years of work experience in a project’s environment, with extensive on-site knowledge
* Knowledge of FAS, Access Control System, PAS, CCTV, BMS, with their integration requirements for IBMS systems, BACnet, LON, Modbus, OPC and other protocols
* Advanced Network / PC certification
* Advanced knowledge of networking, database technology, integration protocols, and current trends in the industry
* Previous experience working with highly complex technical solutions
* Proven track record in a project design and engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based projects
* Previous exposure to a site base, construction environment.
