Additional Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB), has been appointed as the Special Director in the IB. The
DoPT order states that her appointment is for a tenure of two years from the date of assumption of charge or until her superannuation on
April 30, 2026, whichever is earlier.
* The IB is India’s premier intelligence agency responsible for gathering and disseminating intelligence related to national security, counter-terrorism, and other critical matters.
