Amplus, a company specializing in clean energy solutions and a member of global clean energy solutions company Gentari, has entered into a collaboration with Microsoft through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The collaboration aims to enhance and promote Amplus' innovative renewable energy remote monitoring solution.

This strategic partnership has the potential to bring significant transformation in renewable energy (RE) plant performance monitoring. This initiative will be supported by generative AI technology in the proposed Future Energy Platform.
Last year, the two companies also signed a long-term renewable energy deal for a sizeable 100 MW solar power project in Rajasthan, India.

The company developed its renewable energy remote monitoring solution in-house five years ago. This technology is currently in use at Amplus plants across the country, facilitating seamless, real-time management and performance tracking from virtually any location.
Sharad Pungalia, MD & CEO of Amplus said, “This collaboration marks a pivotal moment for both Amplus and the renewable energy industry. With our in-house renewable energy remote monitoring solution, we have seen tremendous improvement in plant performance and efficient management.

As part of this new collaboration, we are keen to harness the power of Generative AI and Large Language Models to set new standards for co-development of the proposed Future Energy Platform.
Under this collaboration, the two parties will work together to innovate on the Future Energy Platform. It integrates the latest technological advances and ensures that Amplus' renewable energy remote monitoring solution is prepared for a wide range of applications.
