Aramco Digital, the tech wing of oil company Aramco, and global tech expert LTIMindtree have joined hands to create a new IT services company in Saudi Arabia.
This collaboration aims to bring cool digital services and advanced tech systems to the country, supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 by generating skilled jobs in the tech sector Under the Aramco Namaat Industrial Investments Program, this partnership will focus on transforming various industries.
Sudhir Chaturvedi, President and Executive Board Member, LTIMindtree said, "We're aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and committed to bringing new tech-driven growth to the region."
Nabil Al Nuaim, Aramco's Senior VP of Digital and IT said, "This partnership aims to create jobs and a brighter future in the Kingdom."
To be sure, in April 2023, Infosys signed a deal with Aramco to revamp the latter’s human resource (HR) technology. The Indian IT firm is using artificial intelligence (AI) and automation tools to enhance the employee experience at the world's largest oil producer.
Infosys had then announced plans to embed digital transformation practices and tools into Aramco's HR platform, enhancing the overall digital experience for employees to engage more productively, according to a statement issued by Infosys, which added that the initiative is aimed at scaling up “employee learning and development experiences and reduce skill gaps”.
