CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is the language for defining styles for the Web pages, including colours, layout, and fonts. With CSS, one can define the layout and variations in display for different devices and screen sizes(laptop, tablet, mobile).
CSS can be used with any XML-based markup language, and it is independent of HTML.
