The new Rafale Jets are to be inducted into the part of the Indian Air Force’s 17 Squadron also known as the Golden Arrows. IAF is to formally induct the Rafale fighters at the Ambala air base on September 10 in presence of Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh. India has also invited French Defence Minister, Florence Parly, to attend the ceremony.

 
17 Squadron (Golden Arrows) is a squadron of the Indian Air Force stationed at Ambala AFS as part of Western Air Command. The squadron was number-plated in 2016, but was resurrected in Ambala on 11 September 2019 with Dassault Rafales.

The Goa Shipyard Limited has launched the fifth Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) named ICGS Saksham for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG).
